The heat 11 TeamTour 2016 to Meyer-Werft in Papenburg, Germany

Although planned a long time in advance, this years’ company outing of heat 11 had a special surprise. Matching the completion of the cruise ship “Genting Dream”, our team visited the Meyer-Werft in Papenburg, Germany.

So all participants could convince themselves of the impressive size of the projects realized here not only during a fascinating guided tour but experience live how one of the huge giants waits for its transfer to Eemshaven in the Netherlands.

A transfer of these »floating cities« with e.g. own laundry and waste incineration plant, is at all possible only twice a year due to the natural conditions (water levels).
Therewith the completion and scheduled delivery is always depending on smooth workflow and a professional planning. This also is very familiar to us.
