After the liberalization of the Mexican energy market, it is invested heavily in the power plant expansion there. The specialist for high-temperature processes, heat 11 from Bielefeld, Germany, is also involved. In these days, heat 11 delivered a complete gas heatig system for the third line of a gas heating power plant in Tabasco, Mexico.
Upon completion, the power plant will supply 300 MW of electricity and up to 800 tons of hot steam per hour. heat 11 already provided two lines for this power plant. The scope of delivery and services comprises the engineering as well as the manufacturing, the construction supervision and the commissioning of the heating plant for the heating and drying of the natural gas processed in the power plant.
The entire heating plant needed about five months for construction. It consists of a fired heater with a capacity of around 3,7 megawatt, pump skids, expansion tanks, fittings, instruments, chimney and control system. All components are preassembled by the manufacturer. They will only be erected and internally connected with piping. This saves valuable time and money at the erection of the power plant. During the assembly, engineers of heat 11 supervise regularly the work at site in Mexico. The commissioning shall take place still within this year.
